Its somewhat rare, I think maybe out of 40 or so runs, I've had it drop 3 times. I've only noticed it dropping when he's actually wielding it though, so if you don't see him wielding it, just rezone or something.

A warrior boss died and the soul explosion whopped my ele 200, yet the henchies seemed to get hit around 20 (and they were standing practically on the same spot as me)

and yes i freakin' LOVE this update. And to the guy who said its 'unfair' -What do you mean 'unfair'? It's still totally possible to beat them, its just increased challenge. Mate, if the game was totally 'fair' in every respect, it would be boring -or much more so. I for one enjoy having the odds piled against me for a change.

Just remember in PvE unlike PvP balance is not necessary for an enemy mob because pve is a totally different boat.

This update kinda makes Monk bosses + monk non-boss group very difficult to kill with henchies.

Like in Ferndale, the healer dredge boss walks around with a dredge gardener. Pretty much invulnerable.

Yep... ran into this situation with 7 henchmen and 10 minions up. After about 10 minutes all the minions were gone and it was a stalemate.

I think that it's mostly a henchman selection issue. Most people don't bring the Domination Mesmer henchman or the Interrupt Ranger henchman. However, I've found that if you do bring at least one of these guys along you're far less likely to get int a stalemate situation or get rocked by the massive AoE damage that some elementalist bosses can dish out.

omg, that dom henchie is always on my list.

No, the problem is, the DPS is not high enough, I have gotten it to 30% before their super elite healing brings them up to full health very fast.

It feels like their heals are double power aswell.

Lol if they put 3 healer bosses in 1 area as 1 squad say in a mission, I think it would be unfinishable.
